International Conference “Feminisms and Politics in Interwar Balkans and East-Central Europe”, November 28-30, 2024, Dept. History and Archaeology, Faculty of Letters, Auditorium A

From Thursday, November 28, to Saturday, November 30, 2024, the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Crete’s Faculty of Letters will host the International Conference “Feminisms and Politics in the Interwar Balkans and East-Central Europe” in Auditorium A.

The Conference is part of the research project “Feminisms and Politics in the Balkans during the Interwar Period (1923-1939),” funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.) under the “2nd Call for H.F.R.I. Research Projects to Support Faculty Members and Researchers” (Project Number: 3050).

The keynote speakers are:

Fatmagül Berktay, Professor Emerita, Istanbul University
