Admission examinations for graduates of other departments
Graduates of Higher Education Institutions (Universities or TEI) can participate in admission examinations that will allow them to study towards an undergraduate degree in the Department of History & Archeology. The number of admitted students cannot exceed the limit of 12% of all enrolled students in the department.
The subjects to be examined and the study materials are announced every April, while examinations take place every December; the examination timetable is posted on the Department’s website. Eligible applicants have to submit (in person or by post) an application for participation in the exams and a copy of their undergraduate degree to the Departmental Office from 1 to 15 November every year.
Candidates are examined in the following three subjects:
Ancient or Byzantine History (alternating every other year)
Modern History and History of the Greek State
Classical Archeology.

β) Copy of undergraduate degree or certificate. For students with degrees from foreign institutions, a Degree Equivalency Certificate is required, issued by the International Organization of Accrediting Academic Degrees and Information (Δ.Ο.Α.Τ.Α.Π.), or any other competent authority.
c) A photocopy of the identity card or passport of the applicant.
